Quick Answer: WOW! no longer sells its own cable TV. New TV customers get YouTube TV on their WOW! bill, and the company is moving its remaining cable customers across one market at a time. If you still have a WOW! cable box, your lineup is one of three packages, Small, Medium or Large Cable, and the channel numbers depend on where you live. In Southeast Michigan ESPN is channel 33 (211 in HD) and FOX News is 61 (248 in HD). In Pinellas County, Florida, they are 32 (981) and 43 (944). Florida is first to lose the old service: WOW! says cable TV there will be discontinued on or after 13 November 2026, with its other markets following during 2027.
The channel numbers in this guide come from WOW!’s own lineup sheets dated 1 July 2026, checked on 2 October 2026. The switch dates and discounts come from WOW!’s announcement of 3 September 2026 and from its YouTube TV page.
Which WOW! TV Service Do You Have?
WOW! has run more than one TV product, and “what is my lineup” has a different answer for each. Find your row first, because it decides which of the sections below matter to you.
| Your setup | What your lineup is | What happens next |
|---|---|---|
| A WOW! cable box or digital receiver (WOW! calls this WOW! Original TV) | Small, Medium or Large Cable, with numbered channels that vary by area | Florida: ends on or after 13 November 2026. Other markets: during 2027 |
| WOW! tv+, the company’s own streaming TV service | No longer a separate lineup | WOW! says tv+ customers were moved to YouTube TV earlier in 2026 |
| YouTube TV that you signed up for through WOW! | The YouTube TV lineup, with no channel numbers | Nothing changes |
| A business account, or an apartment or condo building with a group rate agreement | Your existing WOW! lineup | WOW! says these are not part of the Florida change |
WOW! Channel Numbers for the Channels People Look Up Most
WOW! publishes a separate lineup sheet for each of 18 areas, so there is no single national list. The table below covers its two largest markets, Southeast Michigan (the Detroit suburbs) and Pinellas County. Where two numbers are shown, the second is the HD version, which needs an HD receiver and an HDTV.

If you live somewhere else, your numbers will differ. WOW! keeps sheets for Auburn, Dothan, Huntsville, Montgomery and Valley in Alabama, Panama City and Pinellas in Florida, Augusta, Columbus and Fort Gordon in Georgia, five Mid-Michigan areas plus Southeast Michigan, Charleston in South Carolina, and Knoxville in Tennessee. What Do Small, Medium and Large Cable Include?
The three package names are the same everywhere, but each one replaced a different older name depending on the market. That matters if an old bill or contract still shows the previous name.
| Package | Old name in Southeast Michigan | Old name in Pinellas | What is in it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small Cable | Limited | Basic | Local ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and PBS stations, their subchannels such as MeTV and Cozi TV, shopping channels and local access. About 30 channels on the Michigan sheet |
| Medium Cable | Basic | Expanded Basic | Everything in Small, plus about 80 cable networks: ESPN, TNT, USA, CNN, FOX News, HGTV, Hallmark, History and the other everyday channels |
| Large Cable | Signature | Digital Preferred | Everything in Medium, plus 30 to 40 more, including NFL Network, ESPNU, ESPNews, Disney Junior, Nick Jr., Science and Smithsonian Channel. The Michigan sheet says WOW! advanced equipment is required |
Worth knowing: “Basic” was the smallest package in Pinellas but the middle one in Michigan. If someone quotes you a channel that is “in Basic”, check which market they mean.
Sports are where the two lineups split the most. Big Ten Network is in Medium Cable in Michigan but needs Large Cable in Pinellas, and SEC Network is the other way round. MLB Network is on the Pinellas Large Cable list and does not appear on the Southeast Michigan sheet at all. NFL RedZone is sold in a separate sports pack in both areas, on top of Large Cable in Pinellas. FanDuel Sports Network left the WOW! lineup on 30 June 2026 when the network closed, according to WOW!’s customer notice.
When Does WOW! Cable TV End?
WOW! signed a deal with YouTube TV in May 2023 and stopped marketing its own TV plans that summer. Existing cable customers kept their service while new customers were steered to YouTube TV. The next step came on 3 September 2026, when WOW! announced that Florida residential cable TV customers would be moved to YouTube TV this fall, with the existing service to be discontinued on or after 13 November 2026.

For everyone outside Florida, the only timing WOW! has given is that other markets will follow throughout 2027. It has not published dates for Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina or Tennessee, so treat any specific date you see elsewhere with caution until a notice arrives on your bill or by mail.
Note: The lineup sheets carry an effective date of 1 July 2026. If your area is not Florida, the sheet for your city is still the right reference for now.
What Do You Keep and Lose on YouTube TV?
YouTube TV works differently from a cable box. There are no channel numbers, so you pick a channel by name from a live guide or by search. You watch through an app on a smart TV or a streaming device, one for each TV, in place of a receiver. WOW! lists unlimited cloud DVR, up to six accounts per household and three streams at once. Recordings saved on a WOW! DVR stay on that box and do not carry over, so watch anything you want to keep before the service ends.
Most of what is in Medium Cable carries over. The gaps are specific, and worth checking against what you watch. The right-hand column follows our full YouTube TV channel lineup, which lists every channel by plan.
| Channels | On WOW! cable | On the YouTube TV Base Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Local ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS | Small Cable | Yes, in most areas |
| ESPN, FS1, TNT, TBS, USA, CNN, FOX News, MS NOW, HGTV, Hallmark Channel | Medium Cable | Yes |
| Big Ten Network, SEC Network, NFL Network, ESPNU | Medium or Large Cable | Yes |
| NFL RedZone | Separate sports pack | Sports Plus add-on, $10.99 a month |
| A&E, History | Medium Cable | No |
| Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network | Medium Cable | Not in the Base Plan |
| FYI, Science, Destination America, Cooking Channel | Medium or Large Cable | No |
| MLB Network | Large Cable in Pinellas | No |
| MeTV, local access and government channels, Music Choice | Small Cable and the music channels | No |
What Will YouTube TV Cost Through WOW!?
The YouTube TV Base Plan is $82.99 a month. WOW! takes a discount off that for the first year, and the size of it depends on who you are.
| Your situation | WOW! discount | Monthly price for 12 months | First-year total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Current WOW! cable TV customer with WOW! Internet who switches | $15 a month for one year | $67.99 | $815.88 |
| WOW! Internet customer who is new to YouTube TV | $10 a month for one year | $72.99 | $875.88 |
| Your Google account has, or once had, YouTube TV | None | $82.99 | $995.88 |
So a cable customer who moves across saves $180 in year one against the standard price, and $60 more than a new customer gets. From month 13 everyone pays the standard rate. The $15 offer comes from WOW!’s Florida announcement. WOW! has not yet said whether the same deal will be offered when other states are moved in 2027.
Worth knowing: The discount is tied to your Google account, not your address. WOW! says an account that is being used, or has previously been used, for YouTube TV is not eligible, and that you must sign up through WOW! and not directly with YouTube TV. Check which Google account you plan to use before you start.
To see whether you come out ahead, compare $67.99 with every TV line on your current WOW! bill, not only the package price. Cable bills usually carry a receiver charge for each TV and a broadcast surcharge on top, and YouTube TV has neither. Our guide to the broadcast TV fee on a cable bill explains what that line is. WOW! does not publish its legacy cable prices, so your own bill is the only reliable figure.
Cheaper Routes If YouTube TV Is More Than You Need
You do not have to take YouTube TV. WOW! Internet works with any streaming service, and for some households a smaller one fits better.
- You mostly watch Hallmark, A&E, History and Lifetime. Those last three are the channels YouTube TV’s Base Plan lacks. Frndly TV carries all of them from $8.99 a month, though it has no local stations, sports or cable news.
- You mostly watch local news and network shows. An indoor antenna picks up ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and PBS with no monthly bill in many areas, depending on how far you are from the broadcast towers, and our guide to watching TV for free covers the free streaming apps that fill in around it.
- You want cable entertainment channels but not sports. The Philo channel lineup includes the A+E networks, AMC, Discovery and Hallmark without ESPN or local stations.
An antenna plus Frndly TV comes to $8.99 a month, against $82.99 for YouTube TV at the standard price. What that pairing gives up is ESPN, TNT, cable news and regional sports, so it suits a household that does not follow live sports on cable.
Common WOW! TV Problems and Likely Fixes
| Problem | Likely fix |
|---|---|
| A channel on the sheet is missing on your TV | It probably sits in a larger package or in the sports pack. Check the package named on your bill against the sheet for your area |
| The HD number shows a blank screen or “not authorized” | That TV has a standard digital receiver. HD channels need an HD receiver and an HDTV |
| Your numbers match neither column in the table above | You are in a different lineup area. Download the sheet for your own city |
| FanDuel Sports Network has disappeared | Not a fault. The network closed on 30 June 2026 and was removed from every WOW! lineup |
| No WOW! discount on your YouTube TV bill | The Google account has had YouTube TV before, or the sign-up was done directly with YouTube TV. Ask WOW! to confirm which applies |
| Old recordings are not in YouTube TV | Cable DVR recordings do not transfer. Set your shows to record again in the YouTube TV library |
If you are in Florida, the practical step this month is a short list. Write down the ten channels your household really watches, check each one against the keep and lose table, and decide between YouTube TV and a cheaper mix before 13 November. WOW! says the old service ends “on or after” that date, so do not plan around extra days.
