Quick Answer: ESPNU on Spectrum has no single channel number. It is listed on channel 370 in many large Spectrum markets, including New York, Los Angeles and Charlotte, and on other numbers in cities such as Dallas (287) and Cleveland (303). Spectrum’s Stream TV Signature, Pro and VIP plans also include the ESPN app plan that carries ESPNU live.

Which Spectrum plan includes ESPNU?
The honest answer has two parts. Spectrum’s current plan pages do not name ESPNU under any plan. They do name ten of the 16 channels in Sports View, the sports add-on, and ESPNU’s sister channel ESPNEWS is one of them. Our own Spectrum lineup, built from an earlier Spectrum channel list, places ESPNU in the same sports group.
So Sports View is the most likely home for ESPNU as a numbered channel. Ask Spectrum to confirm it for your address before you add it. The chat steps further down take a few minutes.

These are plan prices only. Check your bill for any taxes and fees added on top. Spectrum’s page gives the $10 Sports View price for one year and does not say what it costs after that.
Can you watch ESPNU on Spectrum without the add-on?
Yes, through the ESPN app. Spectrum lists ESPN Unlimited as an included app with Stream TV Signature, Pro and VIP. ESPN Unlimited is ESPN’s full streaming plan. Disney, which owns ESPN, says the plan carries all of ESPN’s TV channels, and it names ESPNU in that list. Bought on its own, it has cost $31.99 a month since 17 September 2026.
You have to switch it on once. Charter, the company behind Spectrum, says to open the My Spectrum app and tap Manage TV/Streaming, or to sign in at spectrum.net and choose the TV/Streaming tab. Worth knowing: the ESPN app is separate from your cable box. ESPNU watched this way will not show up in your Spectrum guide or in your Spectrum recordings.
How do you confirm the channel number with Spectrum?

Is Sports View worth $10 a month for ESPNU alone?
Probably not, if ESPNU is the only channel you want. Ten dollars a month comes to $120 over the first year. The ESPN app that already comes with your Stream TV plan shows the same ESPNU games at no extra cost.
